Fetlox Supported Riders

Here at Fetlox we support Riders who are as passionate about their sport and horses as we are.  We are proud to have on board the four fantastic ambitious riders.

Charlotte Walker - Showjumper

I’ve always had a love for horses and started riding around the age of 3 years old. I eventually persuaded my parents to invest in a pony when I was 9. From that day onwards, there wasn’t a weekend spent at home but rather at horse shows.
My greatest passion was showjumping and that is what I followed on to horses. For my 21st birthday, my grandparents surprised me by buying a 4 year old that came to me to sell. I had many successes with him including a 6th at Horse Of The Year Show.
Another horse I had plenty of success on was Warners King who was produced by Johanna Hedburg before I bought him, we went on to win a puissance clearing 2.10m. Alongside showjumping, I started a breeding programme where I have an exciting string of youngstock at various ages.
I'm now based and train with Adrian Speight, which sees me compete a 6 year old for him. Just recently we won the International CSI YH 6 year old class at Chard, 2nd CSI1* and a win in the final at Keysoe International.

Olive Nicholls - Event Rider & Point 2 Point Jockey

I'm a 16 year old Event Rider & Amateur P2P Jockey based just outside Lambourn.  I've been involved in horses my whole life getting my first pony age 2 - Oakey.
I started race riding when I turned 16 in December and have just won the novice riders championship.  I am also busy eventing with two horses competing at Intermediate with the hope to move up the grades.
Although I hate having favourites my stand out was my pony was Basil who despite only being 14.2 he took me from starting eventing to going double clear round my first Intermediate.

Sienna Anderson - Amateur Rider

I began riding when I was 12, living in inner city London can be difficult to find riding centres and also expensive.  I first started with Saddles Riding Centre in Bexley and then during the covid lockdown I filled my free time with volunteering at Mottingham Farm Riding Centre.
My ambition is to be a jockey.  In 2021 I applied to 'Riding A Dream Academy' who were running the year long Khadijah Mellah Scholarship Programme.  Riding A Dream Academy support young talented riders from underprivileged backgrounds and urban equestrian centres to get involved with British Horse Racing.  I was fortunate to be accepted and began my scholarship in August 2021.  I am now focused on acheiving my dream of being a Champion Flat Jockey.
My inspirations are Grace McEntee female apprentice jockey and Hollie Doyle.  My favourite loan horse is Prince, a scruffy looking cob who never fails to make me laugh.

Sarah Wilkinson - New Zealand Int'l Dressage Rider & Coach

Sarah Wilkinson Supported Rider for Fetlox

I have grown up around horses as my mum rode, but I first started riding as a 5yo on a little pony my mum bought.

My first horse Greendowns Laredo (Larry) was the first horse I went onto after ponies and we had great success in dressage. He taught me so much and spurred my desire to continue in dressage professionally.

Most Memorable moments was winning the FEI Children World Dressage Challenge as an 11 and 12 year old and more recently winning the British National Championships in 2021 at Elementary on ‘Koko’ and the 2022 Prelim class on a youngster ‘Nicolaas B’.

Ambitions for the future - On my mare Horacia (Hello) we are aiming for all the big CDIs in the UK. Particularly Windsor and London International. Long term, I have the Olympics in my sights. I have a couple of younger horses who I’m hoping to take to the national championships this year.

I train with British Team Coach Gareth Hughes and have a yard of 10 horses at my base near Cirencester, whom I run with my partner Jack. My base has everything we need to train and teach other riders, nestled in the ‘horsey hub’ of Gloucestershire with several top venues nearby.
